Vsunlight’ s Compact CWDM is the low insertion loss version of CWDM Mux. Compare with traditional CWDM technology,CCWDM technology adopts free-space optics platform which can significanty improve optical performance. of which the wavelength is 1271,1291......1611 nm in the CWDM ITU grid (20 nm spacing), the number of common channels is 4CH, 8CH, 16ch ,18CH. Main advantage of CCWDM Mux are small size, low insertion loss high isolation and low PDL(polarization dependent loss). All versions are designed for outdoor use with temperatures ranging from -40 ℃ to +85 ℃.

Optional Channels and Wavelengths for CWDM Solutions

The CWDM wavelength set consists of a series of 18 wavelengths spaced 20nm apart, from 1270nm to 1610nm. You can choose the channels and wavelengths based on your CWDM Solutions.

Unique free space Technology

The CCWDM Mux adopts free-space technology,which uses light propagating in free space to wirelessly  transmit data.Inside the device,adjacent signal channels are cascaded by parallel beam instead of the fiber.

Extreme Low Insertion Loss

The insertion loss of CCWDM Mux is about half of the conventional CWDM Mux.This reduces the overall of the whole link,and leaves more choices for the design of the solution.
