Patch cord is a length of fiber cable that terminated with fiber optic connectors(LC, SC,etc) at each end, which is used in connection of optical activity. With a thick protective layer, patch cord is usually used in connection between the optical transceiver and the terminal box and is applied in communication system, FTTX, LAN and so on.
