C-MD-18M/C-MD-18M-L; 18ch low loss, CWDM-band filter

The C-MD-18H/C-MD-18-L is a 18-channel CWDM protocol transparent Mux/Demux. It operates in the wavelength range of 1271 - 1611 nm, with a channel spacing of 20 nm, and can support the multiplexing and demultiplexing of up to 18 optical signals.

The C-MD-18/C-MD-18-L has two Monitor ports that tap off 1% of the transmitted and received line signal. This provides the ability to monitor the channel power levels via a connected Optical Channel Monitoring (OCM) deviceor an optical spectrum analyzer. This technology is restricted to -10 to +85℃ operating temperature.

C-MD-18H/C-MD-18-L is a 19” rack mounted monolith having a height of 1RU.

The CWDM wavelength set consists of a series of 18 wavelengths spaced 20nm apart, from 1271nm to 1611nm. You can choose the channels and wavelengths based on your CWDM Solutions.

Different from the conventional CWDM Mux, the low insertion loss CWDM Mux adopts Free-Space technology, which uses lightpropagating in free space to wirelessly transmit data. This unique technology and great workmanship help it with low insertion loss.

C-MD-18M-L a low-loss alternative to C-MD-18M, C-MD-18M-L use free space technology to provide a lower loss. The selection between the two is a balance between needed loss and cost.
